Like many issues related to female reproductive health, endometriosis is not well understood or discussed. There have been very few studies on endo and even less that would be considered racially and ethnically diverse. For people of color who are diagnosed with endometriosis, a lack of inclusivity within support groups is another barrier to feeling heard, understood and supported.
