Steve’s Amateur ( A MATE U R ) garage video on his winter storage routine. I in this video Steve runs through his monthly storage routine, hopefully it will be a useful guide as to how to store your car through the winter months.
Similar to my Ferrari 360 spider recently seen on Tyrrells classic workshop video only his is blue, my Ferrari is running as good as it looks, for the first 1000 miles in my Ferrari 360. Why I will never sell my Ferrari 360, as I still have many items I wish to restore on the car. I will divulge the true cost of restoring my Ferrari in a video coming soon. It has suffered from the usual 360 sticky switches problem, and my Ferrari 360 is getting repainted soon. The Ferrari 360 spider makes a unreal noise on start up.Luckily the Ferrari 360 Modena is the approachable, fun Ferrari, and mine is possibly one of Britains highest mileage Ferrari 360. We will also discuss why cars like this give Ferrari a bad name, but they can be low maintenance dream car. There are many Ferrari 360 experts only too willing to give buyers advice, but I can tell you the story of my Ferrari 360 ownership.I was in too minds to buy a Ferrari 360 vs a Honda NSX, both very useable daily driver cars.A Porsche GT3 vs Ferrari 360 was also a consideration.

Another in the Steve's amateur (A MATE U R ) garage series of informative videos covering the ups and downs of classic car ownership, concentrating on Steve's own cars the Ferrari 360 Spyder, VW T2 camper van, MG TF and Jaguar E Type 4.2 series1 2+2. This time we are looking at Ferrari leather straps and the issue of them splitting and breaking over time, do we have a solution? Hopefully we do and after months of research into the leather, the rivets used to attach them and the type of buckles used we have managed to reproduce a set of straps very close to the originals, so close it would be hard for anyone other than a Ferrari specialist to spot the difference. Our range has expanded over the years to include Ferrari 355 spare wheel strap, Ferrari 430 black leather tool kit and tyre inflator straps, Ferrari 360 straps, Ferrari Testa Rossa luggage straps in black and cream and more recently Ferrari 458 leather strap and even though this is a relatively modern car the straps still suffer from the same issue. The video should be of interest to Ferrari restoration people as I am sure other cars will be suffering from the same issue, but we only produce straps from and original strap or template taken from an original leather strap.
