The trial fit-up continues on Erik, the rally car to be, with another welding job following on from the wiper installation last week. This time it was a bracket for the header tank that had been removed in the past. Without a trial fit this is the kind of detail that could have been missed and I'd have found myself welding on a freshly painted shell after the rally project started. A washer reservoir was also added so it's getting close to being a complete Kadett that can prove it's reliability with some road mileage while still in standard form.
