For the past year and a half, Dr. D-Flo rode an underpowered electric scooter to work, which struggles to make it up even the smallest hills.

So his first big project after building out his garage with CNC machines was to build the ultimate electric scooter. Enter the Cyber Scooter. Constructed completely out of 6061 aluminum bars and sheets this scooter is as powerful as it is unique. Capable of speeds up to 30 mph with a range greater than 50 miles the Cyber Scooter is the ultimate city commuter.

This video contains the entire build of the scooter from fabricating the forks that hold on to the front in hub motor to plasma cutting the deck for the rider to stand on. During the build, D-Flo shares advice from his adventures into the hobbyist machining world.
