I am not a plumber. This is a setup I have done once before at another property and it's been working for over a year with no issues. All I have to buy was pipe and I used old pieces of pipe that I had. The reason why I had to redo it was because the water was just sitting still and puddling near the foundation, bugs and mosquitoes were festering. You can cover the whole thing up with big 3/4 size gravel and top it off all the way till ground level even it out.
