2015-19 GMC 3500HD Rear rotor removal and brake pad replacement. Don't feel overwhelmed when you remove the rear wheels from you HD. These steps will help you to replace the rear brakes yourself and save hundreds!!

Torque specs:
8 Rotor bolts 200Nm ( 148 lb ft)
8 Axle bolts; Two steps : First pass 50 Nm (37 lb ft)
Second pass 41 degrees
Brake Caliper Bracket bolt: 200Nm ( 148 lb ft)
Torque the bearing hub nut to 52lbs ft while rotating the hub in the opposite direction. then loosen the nut until turns freely. then torque the nut to 0 lb ft to finger tight and no more. install lock key. if the keyway will not line up rotate the nut counterclockwise only far enough to line up the slots. then install the retaining ring.
The 52 is just to seat the hub and bearings.
