I went ahead and bought a Power A charging stand from Amazon since I wanted a functional and aesthetic place to charge my Xbox controller when I’m not playing.

Now, because I pay attention to what you guys say, there are 2 things that concerned me when I was contemplating my purchase and I’ll be testing these concerns out to see if I have any trouble myself.

One person said: “The backing doesn’t fit the controllers. Waste of money! Very disappointing. Will be returning this.”

So let’s start with that one.

The charging stand comes with two back plates: One for the series X battery door and one for the XBox one.

The one for the XBOX Series X controller doesn’t have a lip on the edge so that’s how you can differentiate the two.

Plus the Xbox one version doesn’t fit the series x controller.

Now for the moment of truth. With the battery in, does it fit?

I have extra incentive to make this work since I'm putting myself out there in front of the world and don’t want to look like a dummy.
