Just the other day, Toyota presented a new generation of the Land Cruiser 300 , and now it has shown the off-road capabilities of the GR Sport.

To begin with, let us recall that the "sports" SUV is distinguished by a black radiator grille with a different pattern, wheels of the same color, darkened edging of optics, a body kit made of unpainted plastic and additional protection on the bumpers.

The technique is also different, and this is exactly what is demonstrated in the video. In particular, the manufacturer focuses on the Multi Terrain system, which instantly changes the settings of the brakes, suspension and engine. The list of driving modes includes "Auto", "Sand", "Dirt" and "Stones". Also in the video you can see the Crawl Control function in action. This is some kind of off-road cruise control with extra cornering assistance - the system brakes the inner rear wheel to provide a smaller radius.

The new "Cruiser" was transferred to the global TNGA architecture (the next "Tundra" will receive the same ), but the frame structure with permanent all-wheel drive and three differential locks remained.

Safety is provided by the Toyota Safety Sense complex, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping function, automatic high-beam control, emergency braking and more. Eight-cylinder engines have been retired. Instead, the only gasoline V6 3.5 with twin turbocharging will be available in Russia. The power of the unit is 415 hp. and 650 Nm, and it is combined with the AKP10.
