Celebrate Casually! Lazy&Easy Japanese New Year's Eve Soba with Mochi and Tsukune -Toshikoshi Soba

 Published On Dec 30, 2023

For this year's Toshikoshi soba, I made with “Lazy”shaped Tsukune, a chicken meatball floating on top of the flavorful “Lazy”broth, with pan-fried diced Mochi. Who doesn't love Easy and Delicious Soba?

Tsukune soaks up all the flavor from Dashi; it's juicy but bouncy.

The Mochi also soaks up the Dashi and becomes a little bit soggy, and that's the best part!

And Soba is so delicious with all the flavors-So Good!
It's filling in satisfying—the best dish on New Year's Eve.
