BMW has been criticized in recent years for bring a slew of concept electric cars to auto shows while not expanding its production electric car offerings beyond the BMW i3.

Yet its iNEXT, i4 and iX3 cars -- which were concepts not so long ago -- have just finished successful prototype winter testing in the arctic.
