The sub genre of kid friendly racing games has been around for about as long as video games have been. Mario Kart in particular has been a successful series for three decades now, and when something is successful, others will try to cash in on its success with their own games. Problem is, though, while most companies understand the core of Mario Kart, the quality control that goes into them is virtually the opposite. Today, I'll be tackling through a bunch of terrible racing games that either tried their own thing and failed, or just copied Mario Kart without the polish. What I look at in this video, are not only games that are forgotten about usually, but in the case that one of them IS remembered, it's for how poorly received they are. Doesn't matter if they try to mimmick Mario Kart's mechanics or make something slightly more original, it almost never works. Whether it be the infamous M&Ms Kart Racing, the long forgotten Crazy Frog Racer, or the horrible lineup brought to us by Miracle Designs, get ready to witness some truly exhausting stuff in the painful world of racing games. Because I'm not.
