We wheeled a fully-charged 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N towards Parcmotor just outside Barcelona, departing the city and its snarled traffic with an indicated 376 kilometres of range and 99 per cent battery charge.

Entertaining roads to the track contributed to an indicated consumption of 25 kWh/100km which would peg range at roughly 335 clicks when enjoying this thing within the limits of a public road. NRCan officials say 356 km. Track day consumption is far higher — but so is fuel consumption in a gasoline-powered car when driven in anger around a circuit. Ceteris paribis, then.
