May 14, 2022: Back to the Brimfield Antique Show once again, in picture perfect warm weather, to search among thousands of antique vendors for cast iron cookware. If you want to build a special collection of cast iron for your kitchen, or simply to see an uncountable number of amazing sights and items to tempt you, then a visit to Brimfield is a must!

Why did I spend the entire day browsing and only buy one single piece? My collection of cast iron is already too large, and I didn't have any reason to acquire five, ten, or fifty more Wagner and Griswold skillets. But, I hope to show here that even when most of the brand-name cast iron pieces are sold at Brimfield at exaggerated prices, you can still find quite a few unique and special pieces for yourself, if you do some digging and have patience. And yes, there are still bargains to be had, even if you're on a low budget. It's a lot of fun simply to browse there and see some incredible pieces of rare cast iron...and that makes it even more special to score something unique, at a price that won't break the bank for you.
