After a having attended several 1/2 mile races in the past 3 years, I have been amazed by the 2000hp+ GTR's and the 1500hp+ Lambo's with their fancy dual clutch gearboxes and twin turbo setups.As amazing and fast as they are they lack a bit of soul as they seem too "civilized" during their high speed runs.That is why every time I get to watch and/or film a single turbo MK4 Supra being let loose on a dragstrip, or in this case an airport runway I cant help but get excited.

There is something special about the way boost kicks in abruptly, lighting up the rear tires, making the tail swerve from side to side and the sound of the rev limiter bouncing off between shifts.

With a nice clean look, this MK 4 Supra hit the 1/2 mile at Fast or Nothing, battling among others, a Porsche 911 Turbo S, a 750whp Evo 9 and the new Shelby GT 350.Despite having a few issues at one point, this car was pulling away comfortably against some fierce competition, reaching 189mph on its best run.
