Today, I’m sharing a quick project in the shop, fabricating an engine flywheel locking tool for the LS3 going into my Datsun 280z. This tool is really helpful if you’re removing and installing the crank damper, upgrading your cam, or in my case, to be able to install the new flywheel and clutch for my T56. This is applicable for all RWD/4WD/AWD GM LS engines: LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, LS9, L99, LQ4, LQ9, LM7, LH8, L76, L92, etc.
