It's safe to say nearly everyone understands the importance of having a good webcam these days - the pandemic and shift towards more people working from home has made it very evident, but with that was the realisation that the webcam built into your laptop wasn't going to cut it, and that to buy a really good webcam was going to cost you. During this year's WWDC (World Wide Developers Conference) Apple announced a new feature coming to both MacOS Ventura and iOS 16, and that's the ability to use your iPhone's incredible cameras as a webcam - aka Continuity Camera.

Continuity Camera utilizes both the regular wide-angle camera and the UltraWide camera to achieve some very intriguing effects and upping the quality of the overall image. Continuity Camera is currently only available through the Apple Developer program and is speculated to be coming out later this year.
