Look hardware capture cards are awesome, I have a couple of the Elgato models myself. But they are not cheap, or sometimes you don't want the hassle of having to move your beautifully setup PS5 console from its home to near your computer while you stream or record gameplay. This is where the newly updated Remote Play app from Sony comes in!

Combining the Remote Play app with OBS Studio, we can have a streaming setup pretty much the same as if we were using a capture device. I do however, strongly advise using ethernet connections for both console and PC (though a strong WiFi connection should be stable enough for the task).
