Yesterday, I went up to the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park (NCMSP) in Bowling Green Kentucky. I was fortunate enough to get to track the all new Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray on the track.

I tracked the 2024 Corvette E-Ray which is.a hybrid V8 and then I tracked the 2024 Corvette C8 Z06, which is a flat plane crank naturally aspirated V8.

The E-ray (Eray) is the first electrified all wheel drive corvette and the quickest corvette in history.

E-Ray has wider fenders, quarter panels and fascias.

It comes Standard with ground effects and spoiler and matching body-color accents gives it a refined look.

It comes equipped with newly designed wider wheels with exclusive standard all-season 4+ Michelin pilot sport tires and carbon ceramics.

Stealth mode uses only the front wheels to power the vehicle. Fully electric mode for 3-4 miles at up to 45 mph

Up front is an electric drive unit that powers the front wheels.

Down the center of the vehicle is a 1.9 kw hour lithium ion battery.
The battery is self‑charging, through Regenerative energy capture.

0-60 in 2.5 which is mind boggling. (I did it in 2.1)

The E‑Ray battery system includes an integrated power electronics system which helps shave 0.5-second off the 0‑60 time

With 495 horsepower and 470 lb.‑ft. of torque,

plus the 160 horsepower from the eAWD and 125 pound foot of torque. (electric drive unit).

8 speed dual clutch transmission.

The intelligent controls dynamically adjust in real time to provide front axle assist for ultimate stability and balance.
