China's food delivery market has experienced explosive growth in recent years.

It was worth some 150 billion dollars in 2022 - larger than the economy of Morocco.

Critics however, say the gigantic sector is built on exploitation of the country's millions of delivery riders.

Authorities in February tightened regulations in a bid to step up protections.
