Editing Journey:

I grew up as a big fan of High School Musical. I tried making a trailer once and it did okay. Finally I got inspired to make High School Musical 4 once again, this time we get a.i to help make the trailer realistic. Its no surprise this became a challenge, since this won’t be using basic trailer music but instead covers. I chose Start of S0mething New song because it relates with the fact that the characters are starting something new since they are all on their own after 15 years since graduating. There is no guide, I simply came up with the plot on the fly. Start by showing the East High School.

I made Gabriella say “I really miss him” talking about Troy. Then by showing her crying (clip from Princes Switch) we see her missing Troy, which I showed flash back of their time together. With the addition of the line “I don’t know what happened to us, I wish we can start over again”. Troy and Gabriella meets in an epic way to begin the trailer, thanks to clip from Dog Days and Zack’s commercial, saying “Good Morning”. With the help with the clip from SNL we get a scene of Troy Bolton doing a return speech to East High. Then at the end I made Troy Bolton propose to Gabriella Montez.
