Join Bachelor Nation's Jared Haibon in saddling up for a visit to a Dallas, Texas ranch overseen by Damon Leffall, CEO and founder of Hip Hop Cowboy & Heritage Rodeo. Damon walks us through the history of Black cowboys in America and how the rodeo became a staple in the United States, and specifically Dallas culture. After that, Jared ventures over to The Heritage Rodeo, an event hosted by Damon that was inspired by the original Black cowboys, who were responsible for leading herds from one location to another. Jared experiences the rodeo (an event that mixes tradition with entertainment) firsthand, and even gets a chance to interact with Carolyn Carter, an equestrian and rodeo champion, and Craig Jackson, one of the first Black American bull-riding champions.
