Mumbai Police's swift action led to the arrest of two men from Punjab, identified as Sonu Subhash Chander and Anuj Thapan, for their alleged involvement in the Salman Khan case. The duo was accused of supplying guns to shooters Vicky & Sagar, who fired multiple rounds of bullets outside the actor's house on April 14. Following their arrest, Mumbai Police brought them to Mumbai for further legal proceedings. Meanwhile, the shooters, Vicky & Sagar, were apprehended from Gujarat by the combined efforts of Mumbai and Kutch police. A Mumbai court extended the duo's police custody by four days, till April 29. Reports indicated that they were hired by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's brother, Anmol Bishnoi.
