In this tutorial, I show you how to make realistic miniature magazines and newspapers for dioramas and dollhouses. The process is super simple, just scale down some pictures you find online, print them off, fold them in half, glue them together with mod podge, and repeat!

In addition, I also show you how to make a resin 3D printed magazine rack and newspaper shelf. I show you how to remove supports from resin 3D prints using and X-Acto Knife, I show you how to sand and prep 3D prints for painting, and I also show you how to make clear shelves from packaging plastic.

With all the parts prepped, I show you how I airbrush the shelves in my paint booth. The airbrush shown in this video is a GSI Creos PS771. I really like this airbrush and it's super easy to use. I can easily paint the parts without flooding the surface with too much paint.

Once all the parts are painted, I assemble the Magazine Rack and Newspaper Shelf. Then, I glue the individual mini magazines to the rack one at a time. This takes a while to do, but I think the result looks amazing.
