Today we took out the bad boy Mercedes Benz C63 AMG. I had an BMW M4 for awhile and I really enjoyed the car, but there was something missing. As soon as I got in the C63 AMG I felt what was missing. This car is just fun, it isn't about refinement and sharpness, this car is about fun.

I would absolutely call any of these recent AMG motors tire slayers. They're super aggressive motors with a ton of torque. Although this isn't the C63S or the older all motor C63 6.2L V8, this car has a special place of it's own in any car enthusiasts heart.

This particular model has a newer C63 front grill installed which makes the front look much more modern than a normal 2017 C63 AMG. A lot of people said this car reminded them of a Grandma car, or an old lady car, and I can see why people feel that way. As soon as you cut the car on and put it in sports mode though, that whole idea changes and you're met with a true European sports car that can compete with the best the BMW and AUDI have to offer in this segment. Honestly if I was looking to buy a fun weekend car, out of all of the cars we reviewed this car probably tops the list. My only issue is that the older model MB's have such awful tech in comparison to their BMW counterparts that it's a hard choice to pick. I pretty much hate the interface with the screens / navigation / and music, but the car itself is so good to drive that it makes up for all of that.
