This is a short video of the offerings at an o-makase style Japanese restaurant in Oakland, California. Eight courses were served along with a pallete cleanser. "Omakase" (Japanese: お任せ) is a Japanese phrase, used when ordering food in restaurants, that means 'I'll leave it up to you' (from Japanese 'to entrust' (任せる, makaseru)). I am unaffiliated with this restaurant, but it is called 'Delage' if you are interested in looking it up. Reservations required. They have two servings per evening.
