The Panamera used to be Porsche’s one and only four-door luxury saloon, but does it still have a place next to the Taycan?

On the surface, it doesn’t look that great for the Panamera. It’s around the same price as a Taycan and while our 4S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo test car can be driven on electric power alone for up to 34 miles, the Taycan is an all-electric car and is faster on paper. What’s more, the Panamera Sport Turismo faces stiff competition from the Audi RS6 Avant and Mercedes-AMG E63 S Estate, not to mention electric rivals such as the Tesla Model S Plaid. But there’s much more to the Panamera than just numbers…
