We offer the BZ4X in LE, and XLE trim levels. With LE being front-wheel drive powered by a single motor, while XLE adds a rear-mounted motor and has all-wheel drive. bZ4X cuts a striking figure fusing the edgy-styling of an electric vehicle with the robust and confident stance of an SUV.

Let’s talk about range, I know you all are worrying about it. Front wheel drive models get a range of up to 406 kilometres on a full charge and all wheel drive models get a range of up to 367 kilometers. More than enough to drive from Port Moody to Kamloops on a single charge.

These ranges are best estimates and can be affected by factors like temperature and weight. One way to increase range in cold weather is to preheat your vehicle by plugging it in. The heat from being plugged in will mean you start your trip at optimal battery temperature, maximizing efficiency.

Now let’s talk about safety. The Toyota bZ4X has a 5-star safety rating from the NHTSA and comes with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 standard. Version 3.0 has been updated to include Motorcycle Detection, Lane Change Assist, and Front Cross Traffic Alert. On XLE models with the Tech Package, a Bird's Eye View Monitor designed to give you a full 360-degree view of your surroundings is included.

Tech is abundant inside this advanced electric SUV. Both LE and XLE models come with a 12.3 inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes three years of free Connected Service, which offers Intelligent Assistant, Cloud Navigation, and Destination Assist.

Now let’s talk about charging your bZ4X. bZ4X includes a Level 1 charging cord that can be plugged into any standard three-prong 120V outlet. While this is likely the most accessible charging method, it may not be suited for all drivers due to the slower charging rate.

For faster charging at home, you may wish to purchase a Level 2 home charger like the Home Flex Level 2 charger and have it installed by a licensed electrician. Level 2 charging operates at 240 volts and will require the installation of a 240-volt outlet in the home or hard wired into the panel. Please use a licensed electrician for installation of a home charger. Customers can charge in public using Level 2 chargers or Level 3 DC Fast Chargers. Public charging stations can be found through the Toyota app. We recommend not charging beyond 80% battery capacity when using a level 3 DC Fast Charger to preserve the life of the battery.
