Point Mugu State Park is a beautiful state park on the western end of the Santa Monica Mountain range. The park has dozens of miles of hiking trails and many lead to beautiful coastal views like Mugu Peak. Mugu Peak is a 2.5 mile round trip trail (the way I hiked it) to an awesome peak and viewpoint in the mountain range. It is a no joke uphill hike though and you will get the blood pumping if you do it. Check out my video on the trail and let me know what you think in the comments.
