The Central Cardamom Mountains National Park is one of the largest protected forests in Southeast Asia. On top of sequestering the CO2 equivalent of 70,000 cars on the road per year, it is also home to incredible biodiversity – 54 endangered species, including the Asian Elephant, the Clouded Leopard, and the Sunda Pangolin.

Conservation International CEO Dr. M Sanjayan explores the wonders of this massive rainforest firsthand, where we have worked alongside the local government, Indigenous peoples and local communities to support livelihoods and protect nature that is of global significance to all of us.
