A really important repair on this Talbot Express Camper Van Restoration was the rebuilding of this inner wheel arch. I moved this entire project forward in my schedule to catch this rust before it spread into the structure around the strut top. This work was just in time and will be the saving of the little motor home. There were a lot of complex curves in this section so it was a fine balance between leaving some of the old metal and replacing as big a section as possible to save time. It's been a lot of work building up the panels around this one to see what was needed.
