I know not all of us Christians observe Lent, but to me, Lent is a self tune up for everyone. It's How to prepare for Easter. Its not about "giving something up", its about severely searching your inner most heart, in the light of truth, taking inventory of what is good and what needs to go, putting to death what needs to be put to death, and rising again, with Him, as a new creation.
