On a recent trip to Chattanooga I went to TVA Dam #2 about a hour drive.
The Ocoee ( Oh-co-wee ) River is a White Water Rafting and Kayaking destination. The Middle Ocoee Put-In is right at the base of the dam.
This is the start of a 5 mile stretch of class III and IV White Water Rapids !
There are many companies offering guided trips !
