Monique and Joseph have been struggling for months. He can’t keep a job and she said she’s not attracted to a man who can’t pay his bills. Monique wants him to step up to the plate and get a job and take care of his business. Because Monique is going back to school and taking online courses, Joseph insists that she needs to get a job to pick up the costs, not him. He also argues that her drinking is out of control and her jealousy makes him feel like he’s in prison.
