I love camping stoves, especially remote canister ones. So I wanted to find out which of the 3 different types would perform best in boil tests, simmering, cold conditions and wind. I record gas consumption and times at each phase. The three main types are plain valve with wind protected burner ( fire maple rock), stove with preheat tube ( fire maple Blade 2) and pressure regulated (Fire Maple Polaris)
