Is this a big mistake, or the coolest way to get into a Jeep? Today, we're "rescuing" this cool but sort of forgotten truck. It's really just a project a my friend, Kris, couldn't get around to, and I have always liked the lines of an old Waggy. My dad had a 79 as the family truck before the suburban came along, so there's some connection there, too. We'll get this rolling and running and stopping and maybe try to avoid catching on fire. I'm pretty sure a woodgrain hammers build is in the future, but for right now, I'm going to enjoy it as-is. It’s a new Grand Wagoneer, or at least it is to me.

As you watch this, we'll have this on the trailer rolling into Moab for Easter Jeep Safari. It's going to be a hoot.
