Just a short (!?!!) portion of the on air banter, ads, and jingles from WFBG-AM's Sean Mckay LIVE on location in Mason's Department Store during their huge New Years' Day clearance sale on Jan 1, 1976.
I bought some old 8 inch reel-to-reel tapes a few months ago of various countdowns that were taped off the air back in the '70s and '80s. They were recorded by someone who I believe was from the Bellefonte, PA area, and are a treasure-trove of sorts from the last days of mainstream AM music radio.
