The AMC Jeep CJs fuel and temp gauges are notorious for not working. Most of the time it's because they have burned up due to a bad or corroded ground. But I'm willing to bet that a lot more of these gauges are still good and just need to be tested to see where the real problem is. In this video we go through and test the Ohm ranges for both the fuel and temperature gauges and the specs that they should be within to be accurate and functional. We also talk about what each connector does and how to test to see if you are getting a signal or voltage.

Tools you'll need:
Gator clip test wires
Voltmeter with continuity, ohms, and DC current settings
12 volt battery (car battery)
Power test light
