In this video you will learn how I take any audio/music output(L & R outputs) going to my headphones/speakers, and input that audio to my laptop MIC jack(or any other) so it can be recorded to a very high quality mp3 file. Both channels will be combined into one channel(if you are using 2), but a simple fix using the program Audacity, will convert the recorded audio track back to (L & R output). Your MIC input jack was not designed to have the power supplied to a headphone/speaker connected to it. Sometimes you can adjust your sound card to be able to input music/audio to your MIC jack, but that may/my not work properly). Apple devices do not allow you to record the speaker/headphone output to your computer. Now you can take the headphone output, plug it into the MIC input(Make a Loop) and use Audacity to record what would be heard using your speakers/headphones. So much for not being able to record what you can hear. :-)
