Rangrez is a Persian word used for a person who colours something or plays with colours . In the context of Sufism, Rangrez is the one who colours you into the faith of God.
This song is my humble attempt at creating a Sufi song. Sufi poetry allows you to refer to 'The Almighty' as ur beloved and hence sufi songs are like love songs written in the love of God. The song speaks of the journey of a worshipper through absolute submission to discovering God within self. Here's hoping we can find peace within ourselves and peace in general in these testing times!
