Psinfo.exe is a powerful helpdesk tool allowing the admin and IT pro to inventory critical elements of any remote device both hardware and software. Psinfo.exe allows a quick overview of the remote device to enhance troubleshooting a wide range of problems. We will demonstrate how to make it work across the network even with the remote registry service disabled. We will introduce another hardware-software inventory tool called “systeminfo.exe” and PowerShell’s Get-ComputerInfo command-let. Psping will be demonstrated based on the ICMP/TCP test mode, this is a comprehensive network analysis tool for IT professionals. We will walk through the parameters and demonstrate what you can do in ICMP/TCP test mode. Psping is a very practical tool for testing connectivity and network diagnostic testing.
