Let's be honest: The Cayenne is probably the least exciting vehicle Porsche makes. It's the heaviest, the slowest, and the tallest, pretty much the antitheses of the traditional Porsche formula. If you don't need to tow, and you don't need to fit tall people in back, you should probably just buy a Macan, which is faster and more athletic, for less money. However, if you wanted a Cayenne, the new 2021 Cayenne GTS Coupe model is the lightest, sportiest, most aggressive version. With a 460 HP twin-turbo V8, a beautiful exhaust note, and, perhaps most importantly, the best brake-to-weight ratio I've ever seen in this class, the GTS is able to stand up to the rigors of true performance driving without skipping a beat.

Porsche Cars, NA provided the vehicle, insurance and a tank of fuel for this review.
