We had a chance to ride with our friend who has a brand new 2017 Yamaha Sidewinder 4 stroke turbo. We found some really deep snow in Revelstoke, BC and were able to put the 2 strokes head to head against the 4 stroke. In deep snow climbs the Sidewinder was an absolute beast and the extra power was very apparent. It blew my 850 165" and my brother's 800 174" out of the water. It might have a big of a disadvantage in the tight trees being heavier and a little less nimble. Looking forward to future comparisons and getting some seat time on the 4 stroke.
