With the first rays of the sun, Elsa, riding Nokko, was already rushing to meet Mavka, the new guardian of the forest. Mavka was just waking up after a long winter's hibernation, but with every step she took, the winter retreated and the snow gradually melted. She unfroze the river and woke up the rest of the forest inhabitants, everything around her turned green and bloomed. But Elsa couldn't stay, she had been saving the forest all winter and now it was her time to get a good night's sleep, until next winter.
