I rode on the little-known Mizuma Railway, a rural train line in southern Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The short (5.5-kilometer) line goes to ten stations between Kaizuka and Mizuma-Kannon stations. I went to every single station and walked around to see what there was to see and do in the area. I was very surprised by what I found – who knew that an obscure little train line could offer such a range of things, from ancient castle ruins to views of Saturn in an observatory!
