The history of laptops began in 1975, when IBM launched the first portable computer, the IBM 5100. Then followed the iconic Osborne 1, being much more portable. Over the years, various manufacturers such as IMB, Apple, Dell or Toshiba launched laptops that became more and more portable and came close to what we know a laptop means nowadays. The evolution of laptops from 1975 to the present is an impressive one, from machines that weighed 25kg, today we have ultra-thin and ultra-light laptops such as Apple's MacBook, Huawei, Acer, Asus, Toshiba laptops and many others.
