Soloist: Trijntje Oosterhuis-voc
Trijntje Oosterhuis (b. 1973) is a Dutch singer who became widely known in Holland with her brother Tjeerd and their band Total Touch. Later on she embarked on a solo career and became one of the best and most versatile vocalists in The Netherlands. In 2006 she cut, accompanied by the Metropole Orkest directed by Vince Mendoza, the Look of Love album with Burt Bacharach songs for the Blue Note label. Already at the CD presentation Trijntje received a platinum CD for the sale of 70000 albums. In 2007 The Look of Love was followed by a second CD with Bacharach songs and the Mendoza conducted Metropole Orkest entitled Who'll Speak For Love. In 2019 Trijntje, again with the Metropole Orkest, celebrated her 25 year anniversary as a singer with a completely sold out concert in the 20000-seat Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.
