Echo star Alaqua Cox gave a panel at Awesome Con 2024 to talk about her breakout role, her experiences, and to answer fan-submitted questions.

Alaqua Cox portrayed Maya Lopez, a.k.a. Echo, in Hawkeye and the Marvel series Echo on Disney+. This was her breakout role and actually needed to be convinced by her friends to audition. She was born deaf and is a Native American (Menominee) actress. Part of her right leg is amputated and she uses a prosthesis. Hopefully, she will appear again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and appear in other acting roles.
