@zarinaprvasevda - Shot in Les Arènes de Lutèce, Paris - November 2023

'Everything good comes with struggle'. That's what Zarina Prvasevda told us when we got the perfect take after only two attempts. To say that there was struggle around this Take Away Show would be an understatement. A rare instrument - a Qanûn - which did not get on the plane, only a few hours to find one in Paris, a demonstration outside the band's hotel and no cab to get them to the shoot, an icy cold that froze the hands of the percussionist… The list goes on! Once Zarina and her ensemble started playing we forgot it all, lighten up by their Balkan melodies. And Paris soon got even brighter!
