For one thing, we wanted to clarify that the Gladiator is rated for up to 17 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway, but naturally that's with the little PIZZA CUTTER TIRES that they come with stock, and not in below freezing temps like we did. We tried to make this test as accurate and normal as anyone would drive, the first test of the fuel economy for the Jeep Truck was mixed for 70 MPH, 55 MPH, and 45 MPH with some stop and go, but not a lot, also it was just over 100 miles total with wind speeds around 2 MPH. The truck has slush and ice all over it and of course thats not ideal.

Another thing we wanted to notate was, most people don't buy the Jeep Gladiator for the Fuel Economy, they buy it as a lifestyle vehicle, however most of us use this as our main vehicle for daily driving to work, school, church, the grocery store, and whatever else. Very few of us actually get to use our truck for only OFF-ROAD & RECREATIONAL USES.

Overall, its pretty impressive how well the Jeep did with the 35 inch mud terrain tires. We will also do this exact same test with the 33 inch Falken Wild Peak All Terrains, and then of course we will also do this test with the 37 inch KM3 Mud Terrains from BFGoodrich Tires, and then the 39 inch tires and 42 inch tires. Showing exactly what you're gonna lose with each increase in tire size.
