In today’s video I’ll show you how to do a glute injection, including a demonstration of a ventrogluteal injection. We’ll cover the difference between ventrogluteal and dorsogluteal injections, and why ventrogluteal injections are superior for intramuscular injections. I’ll also show you exactly how to find the injection location, what equipment you’ll need for your injection, as well as how to do the ventrogluteal injection by yourself.

This guide includes a demonstration of a ventrogluteal injection for testosterone replacement therapy, but the information provided will also help you if you want to do a dorsogluteal injection or injection for any other type of medication. I use diagrams and colors on my own buttocks to help you identify the differences between the ventro and dorso gluteal injection sites, which are located on the gluteus medius and gluteus maximus glute muscles respectively.
